Finding the Piece

This cutting-edge program seeks to provide free counseling to low-income youth and their families. Finding the Piece specializes in clinical psychotherapy, which include:
​Toddlers
Youth
Family
Individuals
Couples
Groups
​The Elderly
We utilize evidence-based practices, person-centered / client centered approaches, individualized treatment plans, telehealth and psychoeducation.
Through Finding the Piece, we will heal our city one individual and one family at a time.
In collaboration with Don's Clayton's DCI Drycleaning, Missing Pieces provides interview attire for men and women jobseekers. A suit is provided for the interview and additional professional attire is provided upon being hired.
Upon applying for assistance participants receive one interview suit. However, after full-time employment is obtained, participants may return to our office to receive an additional week of business professional attire.

This program is operated by appointment only. Please note that items selected are donated and are dry-cleaned prior to being distributed. Please allow enough time to receive your clothing prior to scheduled interviews. Effective 
September 18, 2023, all items in the Suited and Booted inventory have been donated to the Haitian Resource Center of Evansville. Please contact (812) 437-5285 if you are in need of clothing, shoes, and work attire.

Future Leaders of the World (F.L.O.W.)

The F.L.O.W. mentor program prepares children ages 5-18 years for the next level. It incorporates college preparatory and character-building skills, such as Self-Empowerment, Critical Thinking, Cultural & Diversity training, Volunteerism, Conflict Resolution, Anger Management, Goal Setting, Budgeting, Financial Literacy, and Crime Intervention. The Gun Buy Back Program

G.B.B.P. is an anti-gang initiative which seeks to remove handguns from teens and at-risk youth nationwide. A pending collaboration with ATF / Homeland Security will help to reduce gun violence within the inner city and allows residents to surrender handguns at authorized locations. This program is funded privately through donations, grants, and fundraisers. Missing Pieces Community Development Corporation seeks to remove 4,000 illegal handguns between 2025-2026.
